Salam,
I am enjoying reading your blog. I noticed you seem to have some interest in pre-Islamic poetry, and i was wondering if you knew of any word for a head covering that was being used then, other than ‘khimar’. I know there were face veils, but were other words used for scarfs that covered the head but not the face?
Thank you for any info you can provide.
Good day. I am making a workbook for my Grade 5’s on ancient Egypt. It is for non-commercial purposes. Would it be possible for me to use the image of Cleopatra that is on your website here: https://alexandrakinias.wordpress.com/2011/10/09/cleopatra-the-last-pharaoh-of-egypt/ ?
I would greatly appreciate it and I would cite your website. Kindly advise. THank you.
